Double Dutchess

I'm enjoying two weeks (yay!!) of Christmas holidays and that means I now have the time to spam everybody with the things I've made in the second half of the year. They were all made for seasonal_spuffy, so be prepared -- it's 100% Spuffy.

I'll start off in reverse chronological order with the most recent thing I did, because it's Christmas-themed, so a good occasion to wish all who read this a

Merry Christmas (or Happy Holidays, if you're not doing Christmas)!

I hope you and your families are all safe and well, and can make the most of the holidays even if you have to celebrate them remotely or with other restrictions due to COVID-19.

Below the cut you find a Christmas version of the diorama of Buffy and Spike's bedroom in the comics that I made for the Seasonal Spuffy solstice free-for-all. As a bonus (not posted on Seasonal Spuffy) I added an extra picture at the end.

Here's another set of images of Spike and Dru skating. I made these for nekid_spike (Winter Wonderland prompt). Again, the vintage postcards I used as a base are from my mother's collection.

ETA: and here are the original postcards that formed the base images. They are a lot of fun, because there is a postcard for each day of the week, and at the bottom there is a short poem (in Dutch) telling the story of a budding romance.

In my manips I left out this bottom part, because I didn't have the time or energy to translate the poems into English. And the story didn't really fit Spike and Dru anyway. That's also the main reason I didn't use the Monday card, because it would make no sense for Spike to visit Drusilla in her house. (Also, that card is a bit damaged and I didn't have time to restore it.) But below I'm providing English translations for the curious. Warning: they're very literal and with no attempt at rhyming.

Yay, today the holidays have begun! Two weeks of (mostly) leasure -- so, so wonderful.

Merry Christmas to all, or if you don't celebrate Christmas, just enjoy the holidays!

Merry Christmas (or whatever you celebrate) to all my fandom friends! And if you don't celebrate anything, just enjoy the holidays -- that's what I do.

After a year in which I had to spend almost all of my time on work and family issues, I am so happy to have the Christmas holidays and some time for myself. I plan on doing a lot of catching up, posting and commenting. Hopefully I'll get everything I want done before the craziness that is work starts up again.



The image is a large, adapted version of an icon I originally made for Seasonal Spuffy, and then Christmasified for Noel of Spike.

Because it's almost Christmas, I thought I'd start off by posting this old artwork I did a few years ago for BuffyTube.
