"Searching for Jim" story banner for sparrow2000
Yes, I did it -- I finally finished the story banner I promised to
sparrow2000 for her story Searching for Jim. I kept her waiting since January; I hope it's been worth the wait!
On top is the latest version. In my original versions (below) I had Jim as "the man in the moon" but on second thought, that was probably a bit too whimsical to fit the mood of the story. So I've revised it, and this is the result:

This is the original version:

And the second version with a lighter backdrop (and a slightly brighter Jim too):

And now I'm really going to stop making new versions!

Whatever for? *lol* Of course I LOVE making revisions of my own banners so take that with a barrel of salt.
I feel like I'm the only one because most people post the "one and only" version but I often post several and let folks decide what they like best. Also, I find I often have to go through several revisions before the project decides what it wants to be.
Which is to say, revisions? bring 'em on! :D

Actually that's what I tried to do, but then I had second thoughts about the supposedly "one and only" version that I had posted, so I added another one and then another one :-)
