I'm working on another vid at the moment, but I took a break from that and managed to squeeze out a short vid for this year's Spring round of

seasonal_spuffy. This is Spike's very own "pity ditty", set to a song by The Smiths. It's a lovely song, but I must admit one of the main reasons I picked it, is that it's under two minutes :-)

Here's another set of images of Spike and Dru skating. I made these for

nekid_spike (Winter Wonderland prompt). Again, the vintage postcards I used as a base are from my mother's collection.

ETA: and here are the original postcards that formed the base images. They are a lot of fun, because there is a postcard for each day of the week, and at the bottom there is a short poem (in Dutch) telling the story of a budding romance.

In my manips I left out this bottom part, because I didn't have the time or energy to translate the poems into English. And the story didn't really fit Spike and Dru anyway. That's also the main reason I didn't use the Monday card, because it would make no sense for Spike to visit Drusilla in her house. (Also, that card is a bit damaged and I didn't have time to restore it.) But below I'm providing English translations for the curious. Warning: they're very literal and with no attempt at rhyming.

Wow, it's been a while since my last post. But now the Christmas holidays are here and I finally have some time for fandom stuff again.

Here are some vintage postcard manips that I made as a contribution for this year's

noel_of_spike. The cards are from my mother's vintage cards collection.

ETA: For those who are interested, I've added the original postcards I used as bases. As you'll notice, I changed the colouring to make it look more like night, to make it plausible that Spike and Dru are not burning up.

Apologies for hardly being around lately. I'm drowning in work and unlikely to resurface for any length of time before the Christmas holidays. Still, I managed to do a little thing for Halloween!

I participated in the Nekid Numbers Halloween over at

nekid_spike and got the prompt "Wesley or Drusilla / Ghost / Woods". I went with Dru, and this is what I came up with. The text is from the poem Haunted Forest by Kurt Kacich.

Finally, I really would have liked to participate in the

sb_fag_ends Trick or Treat game, but there's no way I can do it. It looks like so much fun and it has already caused a slew of short fics that I'm really looking forward to read. So please, go participate if you have the time. There's still a few days left!
