This year the Dutch verb 'niksen' (= to do nothing) got some international fame, but my year was spent doing the opposite of that. Given how busy I've been, to be honest I'm amazed I managed to produce so much fannish stuff. It did come at the cost of having been very bad at commenting on other people's work, for which I apologize. Hopefully I will do better at that in 2020.

I'm so glad to be part of several wonderful BtVS communities here on LJ and elsewhere. As you can see from the list above, without those and the lovely people in them to inspire and encourage me to do fan art I'm not sure I would have gotten much done this year.

So, here is a categorized overview of my fannish output from last year. Apart from the most recent stuff (made during the past few days -- Christmas holidays, yay!) basically all of this was made in the middle of the night and at the cost of much lost sleep. But I regret nothing! Well, except that I couldn't do more.

2016 is finally over, and it's time to look back at my second full fandom year on LJ. So here is a categorized overview of my vids, icons and other artwork that I posted for the first time on LJ in 2016. Most of it was newly made, but there's also some stuff I made years ago and that was originally posted on BuffyTube.

(TBH, I'm pleasantly surprised by how much fannish output I managed to produce in 2016, because looking back it seems like I spent 99% of my time working.)

Now that we're at the start of a new year, it's time to look back on my past fandom year, starting when I first got on to LJ at Christmas 2014. Below is a categorized overview of my vids, icons and other artwork that I debuted on LJ since then. I'm listing both new work and older work that I made before my LJ-days and that I had already posted in other places such as BuffyTube.

2015 was not a good year for me in terms of free time, but I'm pleased with how much I still managed to do. Many thanks to all my LJ friends and fellow fans who have welcomed and encouraged me -- I hope we will have more fandom fun together in 2016!
