Running with Scissors Awards

Due to RL issues, I am way behind with -- well, basically everything. And this includes thanking the lovely people who nominated some of my stuff for the Running with Scissors Awards (rwsawards): my Seasonal Spuffy banner and icon #7, and the Searching for Jim banner I made for sparrow2000 last year. There's no way I'm going to win anything, given the level of the competition -- brilliant entries all. But it's still wonderful to be up there with the rest, so a big THANK YOU to my nominators!

I'm sorry to say I didn't have the opportunity to nominate anyone myself. I will be voting though, because as it turns out there are two categories that involve voting instead of judging. But it's going to be really difficult to pick just one entry in each category...

There is no reason why you shouldn't win. You are tremendously talented. And it's lovely that you are in such great company. Our fandom has got a lot of talent going on.

Btw, Searching for Jim (your story, not my banner) seems to be doing pretty well in the Hairy Eyeball category, so that's great. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
